The Institute for Musculoskeletal Health focuses on addressing poor musculoskeletal health, the leading cause of global disability, which is expected to worsen with an aging population. The Institute combines the expertise of the Sydney Local Health District and the Sydney School of Public Health to conduct high-quality, patient-centered research. Our vision is to optimize musculoskeletal health and physical activity through collaborative efforts, translating research into policy and practice, and developing a skilled workforce. We aim to strengthen local and international collaborations to enhance the real-world impact of their research.
